In recent years there seems to be more and more interest in the offline filtration technology.

Offline hydraulic oil filters have the task of filtering the operating fluid located in the hydraulic container in a separate circuit, of relieving the oil filters in the main flow and thus of increasing the availability of the system while simultaneously reducing the operating costs.

 

This additional filtration system has lots of advantages:

  • continuous oil cleaning, even when the main system is shut-down

Removal of dissolved oxidation by-products

 

Lubricants have the ability to retain very small submicron impurities in solution. These impurities are largely oil-degradation products, but include other oil suspensions as well. Once the oil becomes saturated these oxidation by-products come out of solution and precipitate as varnish on the insides of hydraulic components.

By removing the soluble varnish feedstock we are addressing the primary cause of varnish before varnish deposits can form.

Removal of particles, free and demulsified water + oil degassing

 

OilSense uses vacuum purifiers for removal of free water in your oil. These are the most efficient machines fort his task.  Our vendor-neutrality simply ensures impartial, unbiased presentation of the best purifiers on the marked. This is very important because not all purifiers achieve good results.

Besides removal of free water, purifiers also remove free water, particles and gasses from your oil.

Phosphate esters are commonly used for lubrication in industrial applications where there is a risk of fire. They have excellent lubrication and anti-wear properties comparable to petroleum oils.

The disadvantage of these fluids is that they easily absorb water. The fluid decomposes in acid components through hydrolysis. For this, the maximum acceptable level of water contamination is 0,1%.

Fuel conditioning units

The fuel conditioning units remove water from diesel fuel > 99% single pass water removal efficiency and high efficiency particulate filtration.  Units available up to 200 gpm / 750 lpm for high volume treatment of bulk diesel tanks. Typical applications include diesel tank farm bulk fluid conditioning, tanker truck filling transfer and filtration, stand-by diesel storage tanks and more.

The continuous degassing, dewatering and filtration of the insulating oil ensures that the oxygen content, water content and particle contamination in the transformer oil is kept low, the breakdown voltage of the insulating oil is increased and as a result the service life of the insulation is also increased.
